A December Full of Blessings

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

God has been so good through 2024, but it feels as though He has been stuffing as much goodness as He can into December before 2025 begins!

ICETE Conference in Tirana, Albania:

Earlier this month, I booked my flights and my registration for the International Council of Evangelical Theological Education's C-25 conference, which means that I'll officially be going to Tirana, Albania in March of 2025. I'm looking forward to building meaningful kingdom connections with other ministry leaders there. It is also an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and resources with other organizations, so more can be accomplished for God's glory.

Adjunct Teaching at Lancaster Bible College

Last week, I was hired as an adjunct professor at Lancaster Bible College (LBC) to teach in the School of Bible and Ministry. I will be co-teaching one course in the Theology of Children and Families starting in January. My main ministry will still be with as Director of Global Education at BCM, however adjunct teaching one course per semester at LBC will give me experience that will inform much of my role.

My prayer is that I will be a blessing and encouragement to the students I teach at LBC. However, I also pray that the experience and credibility gained from teaching at LBC will make me a better missionary as well.

Encouragement and Opportunities in Uganda:

This week, I had a video call with one of our key leaders in Uganda named Joshua. During this phone call, Joshua shared with me the how so many pastors and ministry leaders in his country crave Bible and Theology training, but don't have access to traditional Bible colleges and seminaries. He feels strongly that there is a need for certificate-level training ministries there.

I was beyond encouraged by this conversation, as it reiterated that Bible training is not just something that Americans think the rest of the world needs, it is something that kingdom leaders feel the need for. It left me both excited to serve and humbled that God would use me in this way. I hope to have more news on all that God is doing in Uganda in the coming months!

Prayers and Praises:

Family:

• Praise God that Phil and I will be able to spend the holidays with his parents in South Carolina.

• Pray for my grandmother who is recovering from a surgery to remove a severe hernia. Pray that the surgery resolves the issue so she is not in as much pain.

  
  

Uganda:

• Praise God for the provision of a property that they plan to use as a training center for ministry leaders.

• Praise God  for a fruitful ministry in South Sudan by our Uganda team over the past year.

• Pray for wisdom in how to support our Ugandan team well as God is enormously blessing their ministry.

• Pray for wisdom as we work to meet the need for Bible-Theology training throughout the country.

  
  

ICETE:

• Praise God for the ministry being accomplished through ICETE, and the opportunity I have to represent BCM at this conference.

• Pray that God will prepare my heart in the coming months to seek all that He has planned.
